The Cornell Memory Care Center

Medical Adult Day Program

The Cornell Memory Care Center is a medical adult day program delivered in a home like setting for individuals with Alzheimer’s and dementia. The Center uses the internationally known Best Friends™ approach to care, which matches staff and volunteers to each participant in order to focus on their life story. Nursing care, medication assistance, activities, meals and snacks are provided daily.

How can my loved one use The Cornell Memory Care Center?

Older adults (60 years+) must meet one of the following criteria:
--Frail or physically limited as a result of a medical condition or aging; the individual needs supervision or assistance during part of the day.
--Needs assistance to prevent injury, assure proper nutrition, assistance with medication, memory care.
--Would benefit from individualized attention and social structure.
--Any age, and have a diagnosis of probable Alzheimer’s or related dementing disease; confirmed written diagnosis by physician.

Payment Options
Private pay, Medicaid, some long-term insurance policies cover program fees.

Chapel House and Friendship House

Our independent living apartments offer the best of both worlds: the convenience of apartment living and a sense of community from planned social gatherings.

And you needn’t worry that the amenities of our apartment community are out of your financial reach. Rent subsidies are available – making our apartment homes very affordable!


Christian Health Center

 Our 116-bed, full-service nursing facility offers extensive clinical care for residents who need 24-hour attention. It also provides all campus residents access to rehabilitative care.  Short-term rehabilitative services  are also available to the community at large.


Garden Home Living

 Our independent living garden homes offer a wide variety of floor plans from cozy 825 square foot homes to 1,600 square feet homes, featuring extra amenities such as a study, garage or sunporch. Common walking trails connect all of our communities, including The Village, Cox Mill Court and Chambers Court I and II.


The Cornell Chapel & Gathering Place

At Christian Care, we provide on-site worship services for residents and their families.

Our beautiful, newly built Cornell Chapel seats 175 for weekly services, Bible studies, and other social gatherings. And our chaplain is available by appointment for one-on-one counseling. It’s all part of our mission to care for the whole person – body, mind and spirit.

The dining room, adjacent to the Gathering Place, serves delicious meals, and  is a lively social meeting place for residents and staff.
