Welcome to Christian Care Communities—Louisville. Located in the heart of the city in near downtown Louisville, our communities offer a full spectrum of services for Older Adults.
We believe our communities are not just a place to retire or receive care. They are truly home…a place for finding friends, community and when needed, assistance. Our communities provide residents an exciting, vibrant environment that is close to shopping areas, restaurants, parks, grocery stores and more. We offer organized activities and trips, and even volunteer opportunities so our residents can remain active in the community.
We take pride in our communities, which include:
Chapel House & Friendship House
Chapel House and Friendship House offer residents the best of both worlds—the ability to live on their own, or take advantage of an a la carte menu of assisted living services. Our studio or one-bedroom apartments offer easily accessible living rooms, kitchens and bathrooms with ample storage. More than just an apartment complex, our community has that “small-town” feeling, with lots of group activities, a bustling dining room at Friendship House serving three meals a day, lovely walking paths and large community rooms.
Christian Health Center
This full-service nursing home facility offers licensed skilled nursing and personal care, as well as a secured dementia care unit known as “The Neighborhood.”
Complete Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapies are available to everyone on the campus, not just those in the health center, making it perfect for residents who need a little help after surgeries or injuries.
The transition from hospital to home can be difficult, but Christian Care's new 30-bed Transitional Rehab to Home Unit can help ease the way home.
As an organization founded on Christian principles, Christian Care Communities prides itself on offering top quality, on-site chaplains at all its older adult communities. Here, residents, regardless of their denomination, can enjoy regularly scheduled Bible studies and weekly prayer services. Our chaplains are also available by appointment, counseling residents and their families on a one-on-one basis, completely free of charge. It is this kind of caring, we believe, that helps us care for our residents as a whole person—body, mind and spirit.
