Ms. Spalding joined Christian Care Communities in 2009. She has held regional and national corporate positions with both for profit and non-profit healthcare providers. Her experience ranges over thirty years in both the acute and post-acute health care settings. Prior to joining Christian Care Communities, she was a Vice President with a large for-profit nursing home provider and the Chief Executive Officer for Kentucky’s largest non-profit home health, home infusion, and durable medical equipment provider. Spalding has experience in all aspects of post-acute care including business development, operational improvement, receivable management, divestitures, and acquisitions. During her tenure with Christian Care Communities, Spalding has held a variety of positions to include; Vice President of Innovation and Growth as well as Chief Operating Officer. Spalding is a licensed nursing home administrator and a member of the Leading Age Kentucky Board of Directors as well as chair of the Legislative Regulatory Committee for Leading Age. She is a registered Kentucky lobbyist and enjoys advocacy work. Spalding is an advocate for Alzheimer/Dementia Care and continues to be actively engaged in the organization’s field operations. She has a very patient husband, two wonderful adult sons, two amazing grandchildren and is an elder with Mt. Tabor Presbyterian Church.

Ms. Cox began her career with Christian Care in 2011. She served as the Regional Executive Director with responsibility over The Homeplace at Midway, Bridgepointe at Ashgrove Woods and the Best Friends Adult Day Center. In 2022 she became VP of Operations. She has also served as Vice President for Mission and Service for the Greater Kentucky/Southern Indiana Chapter of the Alzheimer’s Association, and for more than 20 years has been developing programs and services for persons with dementia and their caregivers, including working on national curriculum development for professional caregivers in various care settings. Ms. Cox presents locally and nationally on activity programming and dementia care. She is a co-author on The Best Friends Book of Alzheimer’s Activities, Volume One and Volume Two and contributed to The Best Friends Approach to Dementia Care, Second Edition, with Virginia Bell and David Troxel. She serves on the Kentucky Alzheimer’s Disease Advisory Council and is a practicum supervisor for both the University of Kentucky and the University of Louisville Kent School of Social Work. Ms. Cox is also Adjunct Professor at Midway University in their Health Care Administration Program.

Ms. Woods began her career with Christian Care Communities in 2006. She led the accounting and financial reporting functions for Christian Care, including general ledger, accounts payable, payroll and billing, as well as all financial reporting, both internal and external. She has also had the responsibility for the oversight of the annual audit, the completion of the consolidated financial statements and the filing of Christian Care’s Form 990. She is currently serving as CFO for Christian Care Communities. Ms. Woods received her BSBA in Accounting from the University of Louisville.

Amy Baker rejoined Christian Care Communities in 2025 as Vice President of Human Resources, bringing more than 25 years of HR leadership experience across the healthcare continuum, including long-term care, hospital, rehabilitation, and home health settings. Throughout her career, Ms. Baker has served in a variety of senior HR roles supporting both single-state and multi-state organizations to drive strategic people initiatives. Originally from Chicago, Ms. Baker earned her bachelor’s degree from Marquette University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin, and holds an active SHRM-SCP certification.
