Choice. Peace of mind. Safety and Security.

Our community, located in historic Old Louisville,  provides residents an exciting, vibrant environment, close to restaurants, shopping areas, and medical offices. We offer organized activities, trips and volunteer opportunities so our residents remain active and engaged.

Chapel House & Friendship House Apartments

Our apartments offer residents the best of both worlds—the ability to live on their own, or take advantage of an a la carte menu of Enhanced Care Options. Our studio or one-bedroom apartments offer easily accessible living rooms, kitchens and bathrooms with ample storage. More than just an apartment complex, our community has that “small-town” feeling, with group activities, lovely walking paths and large community/ activity rooms.

Christian Health Center

This full-service nursing home offers licensed skilled nursing and personal care, a transitional rehabilitation unit, a modern rehab gym, as well as a secured dementia care unit known as “The Neighborhood.”

Rehabilitation Services

Complete Physical, Occupational and Speech Therapies are available to everyone on the campus, not just those in the health center, making it convenient for residents who need a little help after surgeries or injuries.

The transition from hospital to home can be difficult, but Christian Care’s 30-bed Transitional Rehab to Home Unit can help ease the way home.

Pastoral Care

As an organization founded on Christian principles, Christian Care Communities prides itself on offering on-site chaplains at all its older adult communities.  Residents, regardless of their denomination, enjoy regularly scheduled Bible studies and weekly prayer services.  Our chaplains are also available by appointment, counseling residents and their families on a one-on-one basis, completely free of charge.  It is this kind of attention that helps us care for our residents as a whole people—body, mind and spirit.
