She doesn’t hesitate to work nights or weekends when filling in for other staff members who are out sick or on vacation. She never complains and is always at work on time, often working many extra hours or even extra days a week.
In addition, she can also be found cooking, cleaning, leading activities and delivering meals to garden home and apartment residents. She consistently brings a warm, caring and assuring presence to residents, families and fellow staff members.
Josie is an encourager who quietly leads by example. Residents and their family members frequently share how much they appreciate Josie’s care and leadership. Our team is so grateful that Josie has been recognized as Employee of the Year.
