Peace of Mind While Living Well at Village Manor in Bowling Green

Stepping into Village Manor, right away you notice it’s different – you’re entering a thoughtfully designed and curated lifestyle that grows with you as your care needs change.

As Bowling Green’s only full-service Life Plan Community, Village Manor offers a continuum of care of senior living options and health services on one campus. From the independence of a private apartment to the personalized support of Assisted Living, Memory Care, and Skilled Nursing, residents can age in place with confidence, knowing the care they need is in one beautiful community.

For Village Manor resident Martha S., the seamless transition between levels of care was a key reason she chose this community. “I didn’t want my kids to worry,” she shared. “Here, I know I’ll be supported no matter what the future holds.”

This peace of mind is what sets Village Manor apart.

“Village Manor is more than a place to live, it’s a place to thrive at every stage of life,” said LaNett Ivey, Assistant Executive Director of Village Manor. “Our Continuing Care Retirement Community (CCRC) model means we can meet our residents’ changing needs without requiring them to leave the community they’ve grown to love. That evolving level of care – and the relationships that come with it – makes all the difference.”

The opportunity for individuals, couples, and friends to age in place is life changing. Resident Portia Wimp shared with us her rehabilitation experience while living in our Independent Living apartments. “In April 2024, after knee replacement surgery, I completed seven weeks of physical therapy mere steps away from my Independent Living apartment here at Village Manor. My therapist, Toni Sibalich, guided me through the stages of healing following my surgeon’s requests. Toni’s professional knowledge, compassion, encouragement and friendship led me to my successful healing. In fact, my surgeon praised me for exceeding the goals for success. I am grateful!” said Portia. Remarking later that “After successful knee replacement surgery, my life was changed by the skilled way Ms. Toni encouraged me to do the work that insured my success to better health. I’m grateful that the care was here for me when I needed it the most.” These stories, residents, and life changing moments mean everything to us at Village Manor.

Residents enjoy maintenance free independent living apartments and appreciate having the option of comfortably transitioning into assistance with daily living activities– all while still being in a home-like setting. Village Manor is built to keep friends and families together. Couples who are aging at different paces are able to remain together at one location, while still having their individual needs met.

With a modern approach to senior living, Village Manor offers much more than care. Residents enjoy engaging activities, thoughtful amenities, and a culture grounded in faith, care and family. Whether it’s a stroll through the beautiful grounds, an afternoon spent laughing with friends over card games, or a quiet moment in the chapel, each day brings new opportunities for purpose and joy.

At Village Manor, aging is not something to fear…it’s a journey to embrace. And for those lucky enough to call Village Manor home, that journey is met with open arms, every step of the way.
