This month, we are proud to shine a light on the vibrant spirit of our Corbin Campus. A community where meaningful partnerships help create joyful moments and lasting connections for residents. A key part of that spirit is the ongoing involvement of Parkway Ministries.
Through their consistent presence and heart for servant ministry, they bring comfort and joy to our community. Under the leadership of pastors Mark Hisle and Jennifer Hisle, Parkway has cultivated a culture of service that is felt throughout the Corbin campus.
Every other month, residents look forward to lively evening game times filled with laughter and fellowship, as well as worship gatherings in the first-floor dining room that provide encouragement and a sense of peace. Parkway Ministries also creates memorable experiences beyond campus walls, taking residents on special outings like fishing trips and celebrations for meaningful occasions. 
During the holiday season, their kindness shines brightly as they provide thoughtful Christmas gifts for residents.
Parkways Outreach Minister, Brock Allen affectionately known as the campus Santa, brings joy throughout the halls, and through his leadership of Heart to Heart Ministries, he and a group of 10 volunteers have played a meaningful role in serving and connecting with residents in numerous ways. Their generosity can be seen across the campus grounds as well.
From donating five planter boxes that support gardening on the back deck to painting courtyard benches, Parkway has helped make outdoor spaces more welcoming and enjoyable. They even lend practical support during emergency drills by bringing their bus and assisting the team, demonstrating their deep commitment to the well-being of residents and staff. The impact of this partnership is felt daily.
Our Administrator in Training, Genople Stancil shared, “We are so grateful for the generosity of Parkway Ministries. They have brought so much joy and meaningful activities to our residents.” Activity Coordinator Natasha Campbell, who has worked closely with the Parkway team, echoed that sentiment: “You can tell they really care about our residents. They are some of the nicest, caring people I have been blessed to work with.”

Volunteers like the team from Parkway Ministries play a vital role in advancing our mission and ministry. Their time, compassion, and willingness to serve create meaningful connections that enrich daily life for residents and provide invaluable support to staff.
