Why Should I Choose A Career in Senior Living

Working with seniors is a unique path filled with excitement and plenty of room to learn as you develop in your career. As you spend time getting to know the many wonderful residents across the community you may come to see life differently, appreciating the small things in your own day to day. Caring for our residents and caring for the team members who care for our residents are our top two priorities at Village Manor. When you start a career with us you are not only getting to spend time with compassionate seniors, but you also have a loyal team and compassionate leadership.

Village Manor, in Bowling Green KY, is quite a special place to spend your days – but don’t just hear it from us! This is what some of our amazing team members have today:

“Village Manor management provides resources so we can reach our full potential in

providing quality care.” – Alisha Delatte (9 months CNA) and Liliana Nickles (2 months CNA)

“If you have a passion for helping others this is a great place to do so. There are various levels of care here, there is a place for you and an opportunity.” – Max Bell (10 year Unit Manager of Health Center)

“We work as a team here at Village Manor. I look forward to coming into work everyday because I know I can count on my coworkers” – Tracie Kremer (3 1/2 years Medical Records and Central Supply; previously a CNA)

“Encouraging staff that you can rely on!” – Makayla Higby (2 Months CNA)

“I like the concept of aging in place, where residents can come at any age and have a place to live forever.” – Donna Howard (19 years Director of Nursing)

“Village Manor is a positive work environment, with uplifting staff, providing different environments so you don’t get burnout. And I love my residents! – Calicia Smith (6 months CNA)

That last team member you heard from, Calicia Smith, just recently became a Certified Nursing Assistant, but she is not stopping there! Next up Calicia wants to work towards becoming a Certified Medical Technician and she is thinking about utilizing Village Manors tuition reimbursement program! While working towards this goal of Medical Technician, Calicia is also working as a student at a local university to gain her degree in dietetics! Calicia is working on both her short-term goals as well as her long-term goals – all while being a devoted and wildly loved team member!

We want to help employees like Calicia to achieve those goals which is why we award up to $5,250* annually towards tuition reimbursement or working towards advanced certifications (*Contact Human Resources for details and qualifications). Village Manor prides itself on taking care of our employees and showing how much we appreciate them by fueling their passion for success!
